Liberation is used to describe a state when we become free from the experiences of the ups and downs in life.

When we depend on people and things as a source of happiness and comfort, then this becomes an emotional dependency for us, a ‘bondage’. As a result it becomes a source of our sorrow as well as our happiness. This is the physical reality of our lives.

Spiritually however, no matter what goes on around us, the thing that ultimately creates the experience of happiness or sorrow is rooted in the way our minds interpret the scenes in life.

The mind, and the thoughts within the mind, become instruments to trap us into a bondage within ourselves. They are also the key to free us and give us liberation in life.

Liberation is what each person yearns for. If we can remain beyond the confusion and punishment caused by own own thoughts,  then we will experience liberation in life!

Om Shanti
