The Box

I am a diamond, a point, a soul.

I the diamond am placed in a box. The box is decorated beautifully in a unique and attractive way. It may even be the best box of all.

Over time people start to identify with the box which contains the diamond, and then eventually only see the box and its beauty. They become impressed with just the box.

The external decoration influences the awareness to subtly move from the value and beauty of the diamond to the value and beauty of the box. Even I begin to forget that I am the diamond sitting in the box.

But God will not see the box. He sees only the living diamond that is within it. For God all else is insignificant in front of that tiny point, the diamond.

Become the point, become the diamond.

Om Shanti
