Lighthouse of Hope

on

Nature run’s its own course and no one can stand in its way.

In current times, we are witnessing the suffering and sorrow of souls across the globe – from east to west, north to south cries of sorrow and distress can be heard.

The seemingly ‘powerful’ race of humankind stands helpless, watching, as so much is being destroyed. No amount of money, influence or technology can heal the pain that is being experienced.

At this time, whilst we watch the scenes of nature unfold, what can we do?

Like lighthouses, we can stand tall, still and silent for a moment. From deep within our hearts and minds, we can generate and emanate thoughts of pure feelings and good wishes in one single focused moment. The power of that spiritual light will surely reach and touch souls everywhere and once again ignite hope in their hearts.

My Still Reality

Spiritual_power

Take a moment to become still.

Let the body become still….allow the mind to become still.
Feel the subtle energy around the body and allow that to also come to a point of stillness.

Now become aware of the soul, the consciousness within. Notice that it has become so still.

Within this stillness let me listen to the silence. Feel and experience the silence.

In the moment is held my reality. Who I am, what I am and what I need to do.

This is my reality.

The Guide

home

God is my guide, the One that teaches, protects and shows me the way.

He is the One that holds the three aspects of time in His awareness and so knows my past, present and future.

When I turn inwards I listen to the voice within…who is speaking and to whom?
Do I spend time listening to the voice of God as he teaches me and guides me through each day or have I become too busy just listening to myself, my own inner voice that is overflowing with talk of my desires and my sorrows?

Does God have a place in that space within so that He is a part of my inner world? Can I hear the voice of God in amongst all the other noise that is going on?

If I open my inner ear to hear the voice of God then I will realise that He is ever present guarding and guiding me. He is always every ready to help at every moment. It is I that has no time or gives no importance to listen.

I am!

sanskars

Originally and eternally my nature, my personality has always been one of virtues and qualities.

I, the soul, am born into a body and through that I perform actions. I play my various roles through this body as I act and interact with other souls and with matter.

As I do this a natural mechanism comes into play – An action that is repeated many times becomes a habit and when a habit is repeated of a long period of time it becomes a personality trait. Over time I also accumulate many experiences and memories that influence me in the actions I chose to do.
This process, that is at play, has made me who I am – the person I know and see and believe to be me.

This personality of ‘mine’ – the one that I have become – has weaknesses, expresses vices and generates so many waste thoughts and feelings. It causes sorrow to the self and others because of the direct influence this personality has on my behaviour.

However, originally and eternally this is not me, not really. Neither am I the body, nor the roles and thus I am also not the personality I believe myself to be.

Step away from the false belief and chose to be who you really are.

Smile Please

happiness

In our active, busy and very full lives we sometimes forget a very basic and positive human tendency – to smile.

What a difference a smile can make!

It can change someone’s day. It can change the atmosphere in a room or transform tension into lightness. it can change a confrontation into a conversation which is open and without fear.

And irrespective of whether there is a situation to be faced or not, bringing a smile to my face will definitely have an impact – it will allow me to make a positive contribution towards creating a positive atmosphere and it will also impact the quality of my experience in that moment.

It takes only a second to smile – make time to smile!
