A Positive Mind

quality_thoughts

I choose to slow down and focus in on the thoughts that my mind is generating.

I become the observer and the analyst.

I take a conscious decision to not give energy to thoughts that are wasteful or negative. Whether I choose to see the thoughts themselves as right or wrong, whether they are justified or not, is not as important as acknowledging the ill feelings, discomfort that they bring about within the self and others.

No matter how comfortable I may experience these thoughts to be, I recognise that, for example, thoughts of a critical, judgemental or presumptive nature are like drops of poison that will seek and destroy all that is positive within me instantly or gradually – depending on the strength of the wasteful or negative thoughts. What is certain is that these types of thoughts will be destructive and will go on to finish my enthusiasm and close the door to opportunities.

Let me choose to develop the habit of consciously having positive and powerful thoughts.

The Spiritual Wave

home

Our atmosphere is full of invisible waves of energy. We may be aware of the natural forms of energy like light and sound. There are also energy waves emitted from technology – computers, mobiles, microwave etc. And then of course the energy waves we generate with our thoughts and feelings.

If we move through the highways and byways of these waves we will find more subtle spiritual waves of energy that take us beyond the physical world and into a world of pure, powerful spiritual energy. An energy that is empowering, fulfilling and satisfying.

Once we are aware of this energy force, it takes only a second to take the journey and connect with it. The challenge is to navigate the mind through an atmosphere that is congested with other miscellaneous energy waves, align with the spiritual wave and stabilise long enough to absorb that energy. With regular practice there is no doubt this can be achieved.

Let me start my practice now.

I invite my mind to take a journey. Like a loving child, it quietens down – eager to start the journey. With concentrated focus, I visualise my destination….a world of pure energy. My mind cooperates and I move away from all distractions and congestion of the physical atmosphere, and I slowly move into the spiritual realm of pure spiritual energy. I find myself surfing on spiritual waves, absorbing that energy. This is the spiritual realm, my spiritual home, nirvana.

Who Am I?

consciousness

They say that we are three people: the one I think I am, the one others think I am and the one I really am.

So who am I really? Who am I?
I am a soul.
I am a soul within this body

I know this but do I understand the deep significance of this truth?
Do I even care?

I am a soul…. I am energy, I am light.

As a soul, I am eternal and immortal ….. I am never born and I will never die.

I cannot be seen with these eyes and yet I exist without a doubt.
I am beyond matter and sound, beyond anything tangible yet I know I do exist.

It is I that speaks through these lips and sees through these eye. The body does not see, it is the soul that sees. The body does not speak, it is the soul that speaks through the body.

I am the soul, the traveller and this is my journey through time.

Soul Story

bodyconsciousness

Once upon a time I, the immortal soul began a journey through eternity – a wonderful and colourful adventure through time.

As years passed by, I played my part, interacting with people and surroundings as required. I played many characters along the way – changing the costume of my body many times.
Until, in time, I became lost in the story – becoming fully absorbed in the roles I played. I forget who I was – who I was originally before my journey began. Amazingly I had lost my own identity!

It is then that the adventure began – the search for the ‘real’ me. I searched from the mountain tops to the bottom of the seas but I was nowhere to be found. Until one day I looked wiithin, behind the costume and the masks, and there I was sitting silently just waiting to be found. I had found the silent, eternal and most beautiful energy of me!

This is my story, the story of the soul – and I guess it is your story too.

Have you began your search for you?

The One

One

Who is the One who is the Almighty Authority, God?

To see Him, I need to become introverted and spend time with myself. To be introverted means not to allow anything external to enter the mind and to be able to recognise and sit with myself, the soul.

To know Him I need to first know myself. With the power of concentration the senses become completely still. I experience the self as energy and light.

In the stillness of my own being I am able to come in front of The One. He is extremely subtle, He is love, energy, light and power.

To recognise Him and to know Him as He is, is the most profound experience in life. It is the realisation of this eternal connection that empowers and transforms the soul and makes it full again.

Take time to recognise the self. Take time to recognise the One.

Who am I?

whoami

We play many roles and have personalities and cultures that reflect the variety of things that we do. However what underpins all that we do, is who it is that we are.

WHO am I ?

Pause for a moment……….
Allow nothing to attract the mind from the outside or from the inside.
Be still…………
Be silent………….
Be present in the moment.

Let the consciousness of the body dissolve……….
Allow your awareness to touch the conscient energy within……….
The living energy that you are.

In this stillness, this silence, emerge the awareness of your own existence without the body……….

I am a soul, a tiny point of living energy, seated in the centre of the forehead………..

Hold this truth, this awareness in your consciousness.

Om Shanti

Soul Consciousness

What does it mean to practise soul consciousness?
It is to become aware of one’s own subtle energy: the subtle being which is silent, still and present at all times but which we are not consciously aware of. To be soul conscious is to live in the awareness of that subtle energy.

Even though it is constantly present, it requires that we tap into it and touch that energy. The regular practise of doing this will slowly shift the consciousness from body to soul.

While being in the awareness of that subtle form, explore the eternal questions that are deeply seated in the soul:

Who am I?
Who do I belong to?
Where have I come from?
What is time for me?

There is no need to think too much, but just emerge the thoughts within the mind. The answers will come but not be in words or sound. The answers will also come subtly in terms of feeling and experiences.

The heart, mind and intellect all need to be silent and clean to be able to catch the responses. Even though they are so subtle the experience of soul consciousness is the most powerful and life changing experience of all.

Try it and see.

Om Shanti
